From Shopify to GoDaddy

Step 1:

• Go to Settings on Shopify and click on Domains
• From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domains.
• In the Domains section, click the name of the domain that you want to transfer.
• Click Domain settings and then Transfer to another provider.
• Review the information, and then click Confirm.
• Check your email for the domain authorization code
• Give the domain authorization code to your new domain provider (for e.g GoDaddy) to verify the transfer

Step 2:

• On GoDaddy, click on Transfers and then Transfer to GoDaddy

• Type the domain name that you want to transfer and then click on continue

• Purchase your domain on GoDaddy
• ** Please note that the transfer of domains after purchase takes between 4 to 5 days for the transfer process to be complete

From Godaddy to Bareconnect

Step 3: Once the transfer of the domain from Shopify to Godaddy is complete, On Bareconnect, you will find the DNS information to insert onto your Godaddy account for your domain to now be linked to Bareconnect.
